Part One
There was something strange about this place, its enchanting green, the weightless, endless grass which waved as if gently caressed by warm hands, the baby blue sky so delicate it could be broken with a sneeze. It was paradise, heaven on earth and yet I could not stop to admire its beauty truly. Something felt off, this surreal world seemed too inviting compared to what I was used to. On top of that I couldn’t possibly place how I got here, no matter how hard I tried I couldn’t place how I had travelled to such a place. This gaping space in my mind was nothing short of stressful, how could I feel so at home in such a strange land? I needed to find a way out!
It was then that I heard her. A voice of silk.
‘Hello, pet~’
At first, I thought I was hearing things, looking around me there was nobody else here. I couldn’t have lost my sanity already? It’d only been a few minutes!
‘Do you like my garden?’
There it was again. In my shock I struggled to muster a response ‘H..Hello?’
‘Hello pet, are you lost? Don’t worry I can help you~’
I could hear the smile behind her words, not a cruel smile but an amused gentle smile as if she was well aware of my concern and wanted to sooth me. If that was the case it was working, at the hum of her sound I felt a great warmth rush over me, so comforting clearing my stress in seconds.
‘ You’re safe with me you know, just follow my voice ~’
These words mysteriously filled me with relief, I didn’t know this woman but I was already ready to follow her.
‘ You can call me River, okay?’
‘I…Its nice t..to m.m.. meet you River’ What a pretty name I couldn’t help thinking. Still infatuated with her melodic speech I continued to listen. She chuckled at my stammer, gently again to avoid making me self-conscious. I could listen to that laugh for hours, the way it echoed in my head sending sweet shivers through my body.
‘Its quite warm here isn’t it, pet?’
It was amazing how I hadn’t noticed it before, my body now felt as if it was submerged in that warmth, fuzzy and so so cosy.
‘Yes River it is’
‘It feels good doesn’t it? So relaxing right? Makes you feel sleepy. Makes it harder to think’
She was right, I was struggling to create a sentence. As she predicted I was feeling so tired, desperate to rest.
‘Its okay Pet, you don’t need to think’
Her voice floated into my head, filling that empty space with a feeling of sweet bliss.
‘It feels good to let me in doesn’t it? Feels so good to let River in’
It felt amazing.
‘You don’t want to think of anything else do you? An empty head is a happy head’
So empty now…so happy.
‘My words are everything to you now’
Only Rivers words….
‘Now get on your knees for River’
I didn’t even realise I had fallen as she commanded. I didn’t care. Her words were everything.
‘Good boy’ She giggled. ‘SO empty, so happy. You want to please River don’t you?’
‘I..I do’ I murmured a sleepy smile spread across my face.
‘You belong to River’.
I belong to River.
‘You want to please river’
I want to please River.
‘Rivers pleasure is your pleasure’
River’s pleasure is my pleasure.
‘You …. Belong…. To River’
‘I belong to River’
‘Good Boy’
